This is the same formula original formula, but with Lamb meal instead of chicken meal. Dogs may react to chicken - based foods and this formula is the solution for puppies with poultry sensitivities.

The granular processing allows each ingredient to be processed separately at a level of temperature that does not compromise its nutritional integrity. The grain is fully processed so that it is digestible. The animal meals are processed at lower temperatures to help ensure proteins, fats, and oils are usable for tissue building. The vitamins are included at the end of the manufacturing process so that they are not subjected to heat that would damage them.
The granular texture helps support oral hygiene by eliminating the chewing process which is the main culprit in the creation of plaque.
