Day 1-4 - Add 1/3 of the daily recommended amount of Abady food to a little less than 2/3 of the pet's regular food.
Day 5-8 - Add 1 /2 of the daily recommended amount of Abady food to a little less than 1/2 of the pet's regular food.
Day 9-13 - Add 2/3 of the daily recommended amount of Abady food to a little less than 1/3 of the pet's regular food. Continue at this proportion until you have used up all your old food, if you wish.
Day 14 - Give the recommended daily amount of Abady food.
Adult dogs should be fed twice daily and puppies 3 times if it is possible; it's easier for them to absorb smaller amounts of food. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND FEDINGS DOGS ONCE A DAY. Your pet's bowel is used to large amounts of artificial and unnecessary fiber and it takes some pets longer to adjust. The use of a probiotic + digestive enzyme is highly recommended during the weaning process. Switching to Abady is always beneficial.
Guidelines read the amounts to be fed per day.
***** DO NOT OVERFEED - MEASURE THE AMOUNTS *****
You may see some blood and/or mucous in the stools about day 4.
Do not be alarmed ! This is NOT the Abady food!!!
The amount of damage to the lining of the bowel from unnatural ingredients in the old food is now visible, but it will heal quickly once your pet has been eating Abady food for a short period of time.
About 10 days after your pet has been on pure Abady food, expect it to pass large amounts of urine through that 24 hour period.
The body fluid retention from some of the ingredients in the commercial food is being released through the urine.
You will then see a wonderful change in the appearance of the pet after this.
It will have a leaner, more muscular appearance, with a defined body shape.
It is worth the trouble; you will love to see your pet so much healthier.
Best luck.
